1. Verjaardagen.
Ik doe er al niet aan maar als er weer s 1 op komst is waar ik bij behoor te zijn word ik spontaan misselijk.
2. Voetbal.
Rellen, WK, oranje merchandise noem maar op. We zijn er nog lang niet van af!
3. Kinderen.
Tegenwoordig opgevoed door de 'nix-generatie'. Maw door en door verwend en onhandelbaar. Gelukkig zijn ze niet allemaal zo, phew! ;)
4. Drugs.
Sneu zijn de mensen die t gebruiken en ook nog s overtuigd zijn dat t hip, leuk en cool is. Na een poosje zien ze er minstens 10 jaar ouder uit. Way to go..
5. Rascisme.
Zucht.

1. Birthdays.
I always try to avoid them but they still get on my nerves.
2. Soccer.
Hooligans, World Champignonship, the typical Dutch orange merchandise. It's crap.
3. Children.
Raised by a generation which were spoiled rotten themselves. Resulting in unruly bad behaviour of children who are driving their parents insane.... but not all of them fortunately, phew!
4. Drugs.
Don't come to me with 'u have to try it to know it' or 'it's not bad if u don't do it too often'. Drug addiction is serious bussines. It doesn't make you much prettier either.
5. Rascism.
Do I need to say more?

Ff inspelen op de aktualiteit. Brace in m'n winkel....

Gisteren de instore gehad. Brace zong 3 nummers en maakte wat klein meisjesgrut blij met een signeersessie. Vervolgens verplichte ik m op de foto te gaan met mij en team :-)~

Just a dodgy picture of me with my team and young Dutch rapper Brace. He performed 3 songs @ my store, incl. his new single 'Drijfzand'. He also signed a dozen singles for a dozen 12-year old giggling girls ;)

I'm not Christopher.


Hij speelde de harde soldaat in '28 Days Later' en schittert nu met veel succes als de nieuwe 'Dr. Who'. Zijn naam is Christopher Eccleston en hij lijkt ook nog s een beetje op mij (naar men zegt).
He played in '28 Days Later' and is the very popular new 'Dr. Who'.
He's Christopher Eccleston and he also looks like me (as people state).

Als je al een tijdje werkt binnen een bedrijf gaan collega's je aardig goed kennen. Zo goed dat je een karikatuur van jezelf wordt blijkbaar; dus voer voor de striptekenaar van het bedrijf. Ik heb een plaatsje in de strip 'De Luisterbalie' van het wekelijkse bedrijfsblaadje gehaald (oplage FRS-Nederland). Zie hier 1 van de resultaten (heel waarschijnlijk onbegrijpelijke platte jargon grappen en grollen voor niet Free Record Shop-medewerkers, maar goed).
Working for 11 years at a recordstore has it's charmes (?). One of them is that the whole company knows you by now...too well actually if you're starring in a cartoon in the companies weekly briefing-magazine. Here's one of them, drawn by Ricardo Makosie. (sorry people no translation for the cartoon).

You may not realize it, but it's 100% true.
